Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Cobot Application Engineer & Programmer to support the research, development and deployment of collaborative robot (cobot) systems across manufacturing and industrial facilities in Pakistan. The candidate will be responsible for programming, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting robotic automation projects involving palletizing, pick-and-place, machine tending, inspection, and material handling applications.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern industrial automation technologies including collaborative robots, machine vision systems, sensors, conveyors, and industrial control systems.
Programming & Integration
- Program and configure collaborative robots for customer applications.
- Develop robot programs for palletizing, pick-and-place, machine tending, and packaging applications.
- Configure robot I/O and communication with external devices.
- Integrate cobots with conveyors, sensors, cameras, printers, and peripheral equipment.
Project Execution
- Assist in project design and application development.
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT).
- Perform onsite installation, commissioning, and startup.
- Support customer training and handover activities.
Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues at customer sites.
- Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting support.
- Generate technical documentation and project reports.
- Support preventive maintenance and service activities.
Customer Interaction
- Conduct application demonstrations.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers.
- Support the sales team during technical evaluations and proposal development.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Industrial Automation
- Related technical disciplines
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of industrial automation.
- Understanding of sensors, pneumatics, and electrical control systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial communications.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Strong willingness to learn robotics and automation technologies.
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel throughout Pakistan for installations and support activities.
- Occasional international training opportunities may be available.

- Application development from inception to proof of concept.

- Quality of documentation and support.
Salary Range
PKR 80,000 – 150,000 per month (depending on experience and capability)
