Job Description
- Prepare and issue customer quotations promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines to obtain the best possible rates.
- Maintain and update rate databases, tariffs, and pricing sheets.
- Analyze customer requirements, shipment details, and trade lanes to provide optimal pricing solutions.
- Ensure profitability of quotes by balancing competitiveness with margin goals.
- Support the sales and business development teams with pricing inputs for tenders, RFQs, and spot quotes.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (vendors, partners, agents).
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance in all pricing activities.
- Prepare reports on pricing performance, hit ratio, and market competitiveness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or pricing tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary Range: 60K-70K
