Job Description

 

  • Supervise and manage the terminal supervisory group into an efficient and effective team.
  • Responsible for the management of terminal operations to ensure the efficient utilization of labor and equipment to provide optimum productivity and reliable services to customers and terminal users.
  • Maintain and develop safe Operations Operating Procedures in accordance to company Policies.
  • Ensure the implementation of  Safety standards in operations.
  • Develop / groom operations staff to takeover senior roles in future.
  • Keep appropriate supervision to ensure that operations staff and contractors in yard follow safe working procedures while performing their operational activities.
  • Implement succession planning within Operations department to maintain multiskilling for key positions.
  •  assigned by the Manager Operations.
  • Look after overall management of shift when working in night shift like administration, security, engineering, Paccs, labor customs, trucker and port authorities
